Having recently left her role as Clerk of The Course at Worcester to take the post at Chepstow Racecourse, we took the opportunity when she was settling into her office to do a quick Q&A with her so we could find out a bit more about our new Clerk!
How long have you been Clerking?
I’ve been doing this role for 3 years now!
What made you realise that you enjoyed this line of work?
When I was 15, I went for work experience at Wolverhampton and Southwell Racecourse, that’s when I caught the bug!
What are your first impressions of Chepstow?
Absolutely stunning.
I’m lucky to call this racecourse both my office and my home as I live on site.
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
The Maldives
Do you have a pet?
Yes, I have a lovely working Cocker Spaniel called ‘Bella’
