Chepstow Racecourse is delighted to hear the news that the Severn bridge tolls are to be lifted on the 17th December 2018.
The news is great for our customers who hail from over the bridge to attend race meetings at Chepstow Racecourse and we hope the removal of the toll charge will make it more appealing for customers to visit not only us but our sister racetrack at Ffos Las.
The seamless movement between England and Wales will not only benefit the Welsh Economy, but it will also benefit the Welsh Horse Racing Industry as trainers, jockeys and owners will find it economical to compete at the great Welsh tracks, as well as Welsh sportsmen and women enhancing the ability to showcase their talent across the United Kingdom.
What’s more, the toll is coming off just 10 days before our Coral Welsh Grand National Meeting on Thursday 27th December so customers can save.
