Spotted! Dinosaurs have been seen running around Chepstow ahead of our Big Family Raceday this Monday (26th August). Watch here
They’ve been training for the 1/2 furlong (100m) Dino Derby Dash, a key feature of the Bank Holiday event where a triceratops, giant raptor, baby dinos, giant dinosaur eggs will also be part of the free family entertainment, with fun fair rides, a kids village and a teens village, all lined up alongside a great afternoon of flat racing.
We thought we’d have a bit of fun ahead of our dinosaur-themed Big Family Raceday on Monday. Everyone remembers the famous Rocky training scenes, so we thought we’d recreate them in Chepstow with our dinosaurs who will be racing on Monday!
We love to see families enjoying race days at Chepstow, and we have pulled out all the stops for this August Bank Holiday, with a full afternoon of fun events for the family, including bungee trampolines, monster truck rides, bouncy castle, dodgems, mini planes and more.
Of course, we also have an afternoon of quality racing lined up for the adults, parking is free, and families are welcome to bring an alcohol-free picnic with them.
Gates open at 12 noon and the first race begins at 2pm, with the special dinosaur race set to keep the children entertained at 1:25pm. Will the triceratops be toppled? Will the raptor be a roaring success? Make sure you find out on Monday!
Tickets are £18 for adults, and children under 17 go free!
