Racing to help Ukraine, are a British horseracing collective intent on supporting the people of Ukraine in the best way we can, by getting together a convoy of horseboxes filled with items that Ukrainian refugees desperately need, as there may be as many as ten million people displaced soon. Sleeping bags, food, water, hygiene and medical supplies are currently top of the list, but the requirements are changing daily and we have contacts in Ukraine and Poland keeping us updated as to what the refugees really need. We are also taking horse feed, veterinary supplies, and a friendly vet with us too. They are departing to deliver these goods this Sunday 11/04/22.
To help this cause we are auctioning off a unique experience. This prize is for 4 guests to visit Jackdaws Castle, home to Jonjo O'Neil Racing. A personal behind-the-scenes tour of this unique 500-acre purpose-built private estate, that has launched the careers of many top racehorses. A meet and greet in the Owners Suite, a chance to watch the horses working on the gallops followed by a champagne breakfast. After this, there will be a tour of the yard finishing with seeing a horse in action in the equine swimming pool and therapy unit.
