The 2024 Welsh Grand National at Chepstow was a resounding success, delivering an electrifying atmosphere and thrilling results. The event attracted a record-breaking crowd, all eager to witness the intense competition and celebrate the rich heritage of this iconic race.
In a dramatic finale, Val Dancer clinched victory, narrowly defeating the Sam Thomas-trained pair, Jubilee Express and Iwilldoit.

The historic Coral Welsh Grand National is the biggest day in Chepstow Racecourse’s calendar and is the pride of Welsh racing. This fixture attracts visitors in their thousands and some of the finest long-distance chasers to the premier racecourse in Wales.
The roll of honour of this great race carries some very special names such as Native River, Potter's Corner and last year's winner, Nassalam!
